ORIGEN 2019

A wine with a monastic spirit

Winemaking and aging
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in French and American oak barrels for 16 months.
Tasting note
Intense ruby red color. One of the wines with the highest score of the winery, in terms of “value for money”. It has aromas of sweet black fruits, blueberries and black currants. The palate is soft and round with a fine velvety texture. With secondary notes of black cherry compote, vanilla and with a balsamic touch, giving it a special appeal. Long and persistent finish. Powerful and balanced wine.
Vine type
Vineyards located around the Cistercian monasteries, between 400 and 500 meters of altitude, next to the Clos Montblanc winery.
A wine that wants to emulate the wine that was made in the monasteries of Catalonia in the 14th century.
Old vines between 20 and 30 years old.
